During our May shows each year, you have the opportunity to see many breeds in action. During other times of the year you can get breed and event information at the American Kennel Club website, akc.org.

Dogs that aren’t an AKC recognized breed are All-American Dogs and wonderful Canine Partners that continue to be eligible for many AKC events!

Rescue

Rio Grande Kennel Club does not have a rescue program, but many of its members are actively involved in the rescue programs of national and regional breed clubs. AKC has a page listing those Breed Rescue resources.
